Exporting glass-processing machinery since 2002, with international project support from planning to installation and training.
The SANKEN SKPL-A series automates glass handling and assembly for PVB laminated glass production. Coordinated loading, washing, positioning, suction transfer and motorized film unwinding prepare the glass-and-interlayer stack for pre-lamination pressing and subsequent autoclave processing.
SANKEN SKPL-A series integrates automatic glass loading, washing, conveying, positioning, suction transfer, motorized PVB film unwinding, assembly and pre-lamination pressing. Siemens PLC and touch-screen control coordinate the production stages for laminated glass preparation before final autoclave processing.
Six models cover maximum glass sizes from 2000 × 3000 mm to 3300 × 6000 mm, with a processing thickness range of 6–80 mm. Choose the line around the largest glass format, laminate structure, required output and available workshop space.
The loading section feeds glass into the line and connects the incoming handling stage with washing and downstream assembly.
The washing section prepares the glass surfaces before lamination. Conveying sections transfer the panels through the line at an adjustable speed of 1–5 m/min.
Positioning and suction transfer equipment move glass into the assembly sequence. Coordinated movement supports the placement of the glass layers around the selected interlayer.
Motorized unwinding supplies PVB film to the assembly area. Plan film storage, roll changes and handling conditions around the selected film dimensions and laminate structure.
The assembly section brings together the glass and interlayer before the laminate passes to the automatic pre-lamination pressing section. The prepared laminate then continues to the final bonding process.
The line includes an automatic tilting section to support transfer after pre-lamination. Coordinate the discharge arrangement with the handling equipment and autoclave loading route.
The control system coordinates the automatic sections through a touch-screen interface. Configure production settings around the glass dimensions, laminate structure and process requirements.

Production efficiency and area capacity depend on glass size, laminate structure, interlayer handling and operating conditions. Conveying speed is the transport speed of the line, rather than completed laminates per minute.
Occupied-space figures describe the line arrangement. Plan additional areas for glass storage, interlayer storage, the lamination room, maintenance access, autoclave handling and supporting utilities. Confirm the complete equipment list and power requirements for the project.
Glass Loading → Washing & Drying → Conveying & Positioning → Glass and Interlayer Assembly → Pre-Lamination Pressing → Transfer → Autoclave Processing
Select glass dimensions, thicknesses and interlayer specifications for the intended laminate. Organize incoming glass and film supply before the production run.
Automatic loading feeds the glass to the washer. The cleaned panels move through positioning and transfer equipment toward the assembly area.
The assembly area combines the glass panels with PVB film supplied from the motorized unwinding section. The line can be configured for laminates containing two or more glass layers.
The assembled stack passes through pre-lamination pressing, then continues to the downstream handling arrangement for autoclave preparation.
A separate autoclave carries out the final heat-and-pressure bonding process for the selected PVB laminate. Coordinate the autoclave working size, batch capacity and cycle requirements with the upstream line.
SKPL-2030A, SKPL-2040A, SKPL-2540A, SKPL-2560A, SKPL-3060A and SKPL-3360A provide different maximum formats and production capacities. All six have a minimum glass size of 300 × 420 mm and a processing thickness range of 6–80 mm.
The line is configured around the glass and interlayer selected for the project. For SGP interlayer requirements, confirm film handling, assembly and downstream processing settings with SANKEN before equipment selection.
Laminates can be specified for facade glazing, windows, railings, roof glazing and other architectural applications. Final performance depends on the glass build-up, interlayer, processing quality and project requirements.
Arrange incoming glass, washing, the lamination room, pre-lamination pressing and autoclave transfer in a connected production flow. Keep the assembly area and interlayer handling conditions suited to the selected film.
The production-line space ranges from 35 × 6 × 4 m to 50 × 7.3 × 4 m across the six models. Coordinate these dimensions with the actual equipment arrangement, working direction and surrounding handling areas.
A PVB lamination area can be planned with a separate autoclave, transfer rails, air compressor and air treatment equipment. Select their capacities and utilities for the laminate dimensions and required production schedule.
The factory layout reference combines glass washing, a lamination room, pre-lamination pressing and autoclave transfer. We adapt the arrangement and automatic handling sections to your selected SKPL-A model and workshop dimensions.
The full-automatic series includes SKPL-2030A, SKPL-2040A, SKPL-2540A, SKPL-2560A, SKPL-3060A and SKPL-3360A.
The A series uses automatic loading, suction transfer and motorized film unwinding as part of the assembly arrangement. The S series is a separate semi-automatic configuration with more manual film handling and assembly work.
SKPL-3360A handles glass up to 3300 × 6000 mm. Smaller models cover 2000 × 3000 mm, 2000 × 4000 mm, 2500 × 4000 mm, 2500 × 6000 mm and 3000 × 6000 mm.
The processing thickness range is 6–80 mm. Confirm the complete laminate build-up, including individual glass layers and interlayers, when configuring the line.
The pre-lamination section prepares the assembled laminate for downstream processing. Final bonding for the selected PVB process takes place in a separate autoclave.
