Exporting glass-processing machinery since 2002, with international project support from planning to installation and training.
The SANKEN SKAL series prepares flat automotive glass through coordinated processing stations and shuttle transfer. Servo-controlled movements connect loading and positioning with the operations included in each model. ED, CE and CED configurations allow the line to match different cutting, edging and drilling requirements.
SANKEN SKAL series prepares flat automotive glass through a shuttle-type arrangement of loading, positioning, cutting, breaking, edging and drilling stations, depending on the selected model. Servo-controlled movements coordinate the processing and transfer stages.
Six models cover maximum glass sizes of 1300 × 800 mm, 1900 × 1300 mm and 2400 × 1300 mm. All models process glass 2–6 mm thick, with a production efficiency of 2 pieces/minute and processing accuracy of ±0.15 mm. Select the model according to the glass format and operations required.
SKAL-1308ED includes automatic loading, edging and drilling. It receives glass prepared by upstream cutting and breaking equipment.
SKAL-1913CE and SKAL-2413CE include automatic loading, CNC cutting, automatic breaking and edging. Select the corresponding CED model when drilling is also required.
SKAL-1308CED, SKAL-1913CED and SKAL-2413CED combine all five processing functions in the shuttle-type line.
The loading and positioning sections feed glass into the selected processing sequence. Automatic handling connects the incoming glass with the first machining operation.
On the CE and CED models, the CNC cutting section prepares the required outline, followed by automatic breaking. The SKAL-1308ED configuration starts with glass supplied from a separate upstream preparation process.
The edging section processes the glass perimeter before downstream manufacturing stages. All six models include automatic edging.
The ED and CED configurations include drilling for glass designs that require holes. Send the hole positions and glass drawings when defining the machining requirements.
The shuttle device and conveying sections transfer glass between processing stations. Cutting, breaking, edging, drilling and shuttling movements use servo control where those operations are included.
The line can connect with a glass washer or other downstream equipment. Coordinate glass size, conveying direction and transfer interfaces when planning the connection.

Production efficiency and processing accuracy depend on the glass design and operating conditions. Confirm the required outline, edge processing and drilling work when selecting the configuration.
Occupied-space figures describe the line arrangement. Plan additional room for glass storage, operator access, maintenance and connections with upstream or downstream equipment.

Select the workflow around the glass drawings and required operations. Washing and subsequent glass forming or lamination stages are arranged separately within the complete automotive glass production process.
Choose SKAL-1308ED when the required operations are loading, edging and drilling. Choose SKAL-1308CED when CNC cutting and automatic breaking are also required. Both models have a minimum processing size of 400 × 400 mm.
SKAL-1913CE combines loading, cutting, breaking and edging. SKAL-1913CED adds drilling. Both models have a minimum processing size of 400 × 400 mm.
SKAL-2413CE combines loading, cutting, breaking and edging. SKAL-2413CED adds drilling. Both models have a minimum processing size of 500 × 500 mm.
All six models share a glass thickness range of 2–6 mm. Review maximum and minimum panel sizes together with the required outline, hole pattern and edge processing before specifying the line.
Plan the loading rack, positioning section, machining stations and shuttle transfer route together. Place the downstream washer or transfer equipment to suit the glass flow and selected configuration.
Line space ranges from 10000 × 8000 × 2000 mm to 16000 × 9000 × 2000 mm among the configurations, with different arrangements for the 1300 × 800 mm models. Use the model-specific occupied-space figures in the parameter tables when planning the workshop.
Rated power ranges from 45 kW to 65 kW, and compressed air pressure is 0.6–0.8 MPa. Coordinate electrical supply, equipment access and maintenance space with the final line arrangement.
