Vertical Glass Washing Machine – SKW-V Series
The SANKEN SKW-V series washes and dries flat glass in a vertical orientation. Models SKW-1800V, SKW-2000V and SKW-2500V provide different processing sizes for glass production requirements.

Vertical Glass Washing and Drying
The SANKEN SKW-V series provides washing and air-knife drying for glass conveyed in a vertical orientation. Models SKW-1800V, SKW-2000V and SKW-2500V accommodate different glass sizes, with a listed thickness range of 3–19 mm.
The series can be used for insulating glass production or alongside vertical glass processing equipment. Equipment selection considers the glass dimensions, coating type, production requirements and available factory space.

Vertical Glass Conveying
Glass remains upright through the washing and drying stages, making the series suitable for production arrangements based on vertical handling.
Three Groups of Cleaning Brushes
Three groups of brushes provide the washing action. For Low-E or other coated glass, the brush configuration and operating conditions should be confirmed against the coating requirements.
Air-Knife Drying
Air knives remove water from the glass surface after washing. Drying results depend on the glass condition, water quality and operating settings.
Stepless Speed Regulation
The transmission uses mechanical stepless speed regulation. The listed cleaning speed is 5–10 m/min for all three models.
Materials for Wet Processing
The protective cover and framework use stainless steel or specially treated steel, according to the supplied configuration.
Vertical Line Integration
Connection to vertical CNC, drilling, sandblasting or edging equipment can be reviewed for the project. Glass transfer height, direction and control interfaces should be checked before connection.
