Exporting glass-processing machinery since 2002, with international project support from planning to installation and training.
The SANKEN SKS-02 Glass Irregular Shape Edging Machine is used to grind and polish the outer edges of round, oval and irregularly shaped flat glass.
The machine holds the glass on a vacuum suction table during processing. Different grinding wheels can be fitted for rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing. A bowl-shaped grinding wheel can also be installed for bevel-edge processing.
The SKS-02 supports a working diameter of 100–2000 mm and glass thicknesses of 3–30 mm. Its maximum bevel width is 35 mm, with bevel angles from 0° to 15°.
The SANKEN SKS-02 Glass Irregular Shape Edging Machine is designed for grinding and polishing the outer edges of round, oval and irregularly shaped flat glass. It is suitable for glass processing applications where conventional straight-line edging machines cannot follow the required glass contour.
The machine uses a vacuum suction table to hold the glass during processing. Different grinding and polishing wheels can be installed for edge finishing, while a bowl-shaped grinding wheel can be used for bevel-edge processing.
The SKS-02 supports a working diameter of 100–2000 mm and glass thicknesses from 3 to 30 mm. It can process bevel widths up to 35 mm at angles between 0° and 15°.

The SKS-02 can grind and polish the outer circumference of circular flat glass. The grinding wheel configuration is selected according to the required edge finish.
The machine is suitable for oval glass and other irregular contours. Its movable grinding assembly allows the grinding wheel to follow the glass perimeter during processing.
Rough grinding removes material from the cut glass edge and prepares the surface for subsequent finishing operations.
Up to three grinding and polishing wheels can be arranged for peripheral edge processing, covering rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing.
For bevel-edge processing, a bowl-shaped grinding wheel can be installed and adjusted to the required grinding angle. The machine supports bevel angles from 0° to 15° and a maximum bevel width of 35 mm.
The glass is held on a vacuum suction support during grinding. This provides a fixed working position while the grinding assembly moves along the required edge contour.
The machine uses a cast-iron base and structural components to support the grinding mechanism during operation.
The operating speed can be adjusted according to the glass shape and grinding requirements.
Grinding wheels can be changed to suit different processing operations, including peripheral grinding, polishing and bevel grinding.
The glass is placed on the vacuum suction table and secured for processing. The grinding wheel is then positioned against the glass edge and follows the required contour.
The grinding and polishing operations depend on the installed wheel configuration and the edge finish required for the workpiece.

Processing capacity and grinding-wheel configuration should be confirmed according to the workpiece dimensions and required edge finish.
Peripheral grinding is used to finish the outer contour of round, oval and irregularly shaped glass. Different wheels can be installed for rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing.
Bevel grinding uses a bowl-shaped grinding wheel to process an angled surface along the glass edge. The bevel angle and grinding-wheel arrangement are selected according to the workpiece requirements.
The SKS-02 is intended for shaped glass edge processing. For straight flat-edge grinding and polishing, see the Glass Straight Line Edging Machine .
The SKS-02 is suitable for processing round, oval and irregularly shaped flat glass where the outer edge requires grinding or polishing.
Typical applications include decorative mirrors, furniture glass, tabletops and other shaped glass components.
The selected wheel arrangement should match the glass thickness, edge profile and required finish.
The SKS-02 is designed for round, oval and irregularly shaped flat glass. It can grind and polish the outer edges of these workpieces.
The specified working diameter is 100–2000 mm. The maximum applicable size for a particular glass shape should be confirmed before processing.
The SKS-02 supports glass thicknesses from 3 to 30 mm.
The glass is secured on a vacuum suction table while the grinding assembly processes the edge.
Yes. Different grinding and polishing wheels can be installed for rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing.
Yes. A bowl-shaped grinding wheel can be installed for bevel grinding. The machine supports bevel angles from 0° to 15° and a maximum bevel width of 35 mm.
Wheel selection depends on the glass shape, thickness, required edge profile and finish. The grinding-wheel arrangement should be confirmed before processing.
For SKS-02 machine selection, provide the glass shape, dimensions, thickness and required edge finish. Drawings or glass samples can help determine the appropriate grinding-wheel configuration and processing method.
