SANKEN Glass Straight Line Double Round Edging Line
SANKEN SKDR-AL Series Glass Straight Line Double Round Edging Line consists of two round edging machines connected by a transit table. It is designed for continuous processing of straight-line glass with flat edges, pencil round edges and OG edges.
Grinding and polishing can be completed automatically online in one production flow. Five configurations are available with maximum processing sizes from 1000 × 1000 mm to 2500 × 2500 mm, processing thickness of 3–12 mm and processing speed up to 5 m/min.
Glass Straight Line Double Round Edging Line
The SANKEN SKDR-AL Series Glass Straight Line Double Round Edging Line is a complete production line consisting of two round edging machines and one transit table.
It is designed for continuous processing of straight-line glass with flat edges, pencil round edges and OG edges. Grinding and polishing can be completed automatically online within one production flow.
Five SKDR-AL configurations are available, covering maximum glass sizes from 1000 × 1000 mm to 2500 × 2500 mm. All catalogue models process 3–12 mm glass at speeds from 0–5 m/min.

Production Line Structure
First Round Edging Machine
The first round edging machine performs grinding and polishing on one pair of glass edges according to the configured edge profile.
Transit Table
The transit table connects the two edging machines and transfers the glass between the first and second processing stages.
Second Round Edging Machine
The second round edging machine continues the edge-processing sequence, allowing grinding and polishing to be completed automatically online.
Supported Edge Profiles
Flat Edge
The line can be configured for straight flat-edge grinding and polishing.
Pencil Round Edge
Pencil round edge profiles can be processed using the appropriate grinding and polishing wheel configuration.
OG Edge
The SKDR-AL line can also be configured for OG edge grinding and polishing.
Working Sequence
The two edging machines and transit table work as one connected production line so that grinding and polishing can be completed online without separating the process into independent manual operations.
