Exporting glass-processing machinery since 2002, with international project support from planning to installation and training.
The SANKEN SK45 Series Glass Straight Line Multilevel Miter Edging Machine is designed for grinding and polishing straight flat edges and multilevel angled edges on glass sheets of different thicknesses.
Coarse grinding, fine grinding, polishing and chamfering can be completed in one processing sequence. The series provides flat-edge and 45° angle-processing configurations for different glass edge-finishing requirements.
Eight models are listed in the SANKEN catalogue: SK45-9, SK45-10, SK45-11, SK45-12 and their corresponding PLC versions.
All models support maximum glass dimensions of 1830 × 2440 mm, minimum dimensions of 100 × 100 mm and a thickness range of 3–19 mm.

SANKEN SK45 Series Glass Straight Line Multilevel Miter Edging Machine
The SK45 Series can grind straight flat edges of glass sheets, providing coarse grinding and fine grinding within one processing sequence.
The machine is designed for multilevel angled glass edges in addition to conventional straight flat-edge processing.
The SANKEN catalogue identifies a flat-edge and 45-degree angle-changing function. The required angle configuration should be confirmed according to the glass product and processing requirements.
After coarse grinding, the glass edge passes through fine grinding and polishing stages to achieve the required finished edge surface.
Chamfering is incorporated into the edge-processing sequence according to the selected machine and grinding-wheel configuration.
The glass is conveyed through the configured grinding and polishing stations. Flat-edge or angled-edge processing is selected according to the required glass edge profile and machine configuration.
The SANKEN catalogue illustrates several wheel types used in the SK45 edge-processing arrangement. The selected wheel arrangement depends on the required edge profile and finish.
Diamond wheels are used in the grinding stages to remove glass material and form the initial edge profile.
Resin wheels are used for further edge refinement following the initial grinding stages.
The illustrated configuration includes arris resin and arris polishing wheels for processing the glass edge corners.
Polishing wheels complete the finishing stages of the configured glass edge-processing sequence.
