Exporting glass-processing machinery since 2002, with international project support from planning to installation and training.
SANKEN configures insulating glass production lines according to your glass size, IGU structure, required production capacity, factory layout and automation requirements. Depending on the selected configuration, the line can integrate Low-E coating deletion, glass washing and drying, spacer preparation, insulating glass assembly, gas filling, pressing, sealing, and automatic glass loading and unloading.
The production line can connect glass loading, Low-E coating deletion, washing and drying, insulating glass assembly, gas filling, pressing, sealing and unloading into a continuous production process, reducing manual handling between processing stages.
The line uses PLC and touch-screen control for centralized operation and production adjustment. Frequency-controlled conveying allows processing speed to be adjusted according to glass specifications and production requirements.
For Low-E glass production, the line can be equipped with automatic coating deletion and coating-side identification. The washing section is designed to clean glass while protecting the coated surface during processing.
Automatic glass size detection, IGU assembly, gas filling and pressing can be integrated into the production line to improve process consistency and reduce manual operation.
The insulating glass line can be connected with an automatic two-component sealing system for secondary sealing. Servo and CNC control support stable sealant application for different insulating glass sizes and configurations.
Servo-controlled glass loading and unloading equipment can be added according to the required automation level, helping reduce manual glass handling and connect the insulating glass line with upstream or downstream processes.
Glass Loading → Low-E Coating Deletion → Washing & Drying → Spacer Preparation → IGU Assembly → Gas Filling & Pressing → Secondary Sealing → Glass Unloading
The exact production process and equipment configuration can be adjusted according to the customer's insulating glass specifications, spacer system, Low-E processing requirements, required capacity and available factory space.
SANKEN can configure auxiliary equipment according to the required IGU production process, spacer system, sealing method and automation level.

Insulating glass units typically consist of two or more glass panes separated by a spacer system, with a sealed cavity that can be filled with inert gas depending on the required configuration. IGUs are widely used in architectural windows, curtain walls, commercial buildings and other applications requiring improved thermal and acoustic performance.
